Fatal Crash: Motorist Dies in High-Speed Collision at White House

This Saturday in Washington, DC, a motorist lost his life after his car collided with one of the White House's outer doors.

The motorist, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck the White House wall between 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue at around 10:30 p.m., according to the US Secret Service.

After the collision, the man—who was not named right away—was discovered dead inside the car from severe injuries.

The Secret Service guaranteed that security measures were in place and that the White House was not in danger when President Joe Biden spent the weekend in Delaware.

Police and the Secret Service are looking into the collision in any case.
