I’ve seen this situation many times but rarely do I see a police officer do this.
I don’t know if the driver of the car in the left lane was afraid or whether or not he’s never passed a police car, but they seemed like amateurs.
Everyone knows the left lane is for passing. The officer could have been going well under the speed limit, and it seemed like it took this guy forever to pass, but then he stayed in the fast lane. Most interstates are 70 miles per hour in the United States. I have passed plenty of cops, passed them going five mph over, hit my blinker, get back over to right-hand lane and resume the speed limit, never have I been pulled over.
If you were the driver of the car in the left lane, how would you have planned this?
