Woman, resists arrest and escapes from off-duty cop after he tried to detain her for rear-ending his car

A cell phone video has surfaced of an off-duty San Jose police officer struggling with two women, possibly sisters, after a fender-bender. The officer, who hasn’t been identified, is seen grappling with a woman near a Honda Accord in a parking lot in September. The San Jose Police Department says the struggle began after the woman’s car hit the off-duty officer’s vehicle and drove off.

Shortly after the video begins, the woman says, “All right!” and appears to be asking the officer to stop fighting her. The officer tells the man filming the altercation, “Call the police! I’m San Jose PD!” The man responds, “I’m calling right now.”
