Democrats are all about putting on a show to drum up emotion and win the battle of perception in the public eye, but they are not winning the war.
They are not winning the war mainly because they are ignorant of the fact that Americans are not dumb and see through their games. Sure it turns voters off over time, but it also adds a brand of cold that can’t be reheated if needed.
Democrats look to be trying a stunt vote for amnesty with H.R. 6. The Office Of Management and Budget (OMB) sent a letter to House Democrats informing them if they will run their proposal into a wall if they try to this legislation foolery.
“H.R. 6 would incentivize and reward illegal immigration while ignoring and undermining key Administration immigration objectives and policy priorities, such as protecting our communities and defending our borders … If H.R. 6 were presented to the President in its current form, his advisors would recommend that he veto the bill”
In contrast, H.R. 6 would only exacerbate illegal immigration and the exploitation of our immigration laws by incentivizing more illegal behavior while doing nothing to address the problems at our southern border or broader immigration enforcement efforts. H.R. 6 would also continue the cycle of our broken immigration system that encourages people to break the law at the expense of those who follow the rules.
For example, it would explicitly ignore those who proactively committed immigration fraud, which would be a slap in the face to those who chose to enter our country legally and who are currently waiting to become American citizens. Furthermore, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that this legislation will increase budget deficits by more than $30 billion, a cost primarily driven by increased spending on Obamacare subsidies, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and Federal student aid for this population of newly legalized immigrants.
A veto of the bill has been promised if the Democrats persist in trying to move this forward. This shot across the bow is meant to challenge Democrats but also give lawmakers pause on attempting to move something that will die on arrival.
OMB Statement of Administration Policy *Update*:
H.R. 6, American Dream and Promise Act of 2019
— OMB Press (@OMBPress) June 3, 2019
With over 20 million illegals living here, instead of the insulting lie of 11 million that politicians and bureaucrats have been using for the last ten years. It costs over $100 billion a year to educate, medicate, and incarcerate them. Over $100 billion a year leaves the country in remittance. Added to this dysfunction are the ID, Welfare, and Voter fraud that is regularly cited by national publications.
It looks as if the Democrats are not heeding that warning and will look to move forward with a vote.

We strongly support the #DreamAndPromiseAct.
"It is long past time for Congress to address America’s broken immigration system. While #HR6 is not a complete solution, it would address two very important issues: #Dreamers & #TPS."

International welfare predators are invading the US. I used to work with an organization that attempted to help illegals. The more we did for them, the more they demanded. One day it dawned on me; these people have been schooled on parasitic behavior. More always demand more. They used their children as human shields to get more, always more.
The last immigration Amnesty bill that was passed (Ronald Reagan, 1986) was passed in exchange for the Democrat’s promise of comprehensive immigration reform and strict enforcement of the laws against employing illegal aliens (severe fines, jail, etc.)
The Democrats lied and did not fulfill their end of that deal. President Trump must hold their toes to the fire for the deal the Democrats made in 1986 (not to worry, Democrats won’t do it) before he will even listen to any new proposals. President Trump should promise a veto of any amnesty legislation sent to him.
That falls under “fool me once, …..”
Trump offered DACA protection in exchange for border security early on, but the criminal left rejected it because it would have shined a good light on Trump with much of the Latino community something the criminal left can’t have. Hopefully, that ship has sailed, and they will be met with Don veto
