[WATCH] AG Barr — Epstein Case WILL CONTINUE: ‘Any Co-Conspirators Should Not Rest Easy’

On Monday morning, after a crazy weekend of conspiracies surrounding the alleged death of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, U.S. Attorney General William Barr vowed that the Justice Department would continue with the sexual abuse and trafficking investigation.

Barr’s new pledge of accountability following Epstein’s suicide should reassure some that other heads could roll if he had his way. He said that the case against the disgraced financier is “very important” to him and the Justice Department.

Epstein’s victims won’t have their chance to stare him down in court, which is one of the drawbacks. Over the weekend, Barr stated that he was “appalled, and indeed, the whole department was, and frankly angry, to learn of the MCC’s failure to adequately secure this prisoner.”

Barr: “We are now learning of serious irregularities at this facility that are deeply concerning and demand a thorough investigation. We will get to the bottom of what happened, and there will be accountability, Let me assure you that this case will continue against anyone who was complicit with Epstein. Any co-conspirators should not rest easy. The victims deserve justice and they will get it.”

The DoJ released a statement over the weekend saying Epstein’s suspicious death “raises serious questions that must be answered.”

I guarantee a man like Epstein kept some kind of records of people he knew and entertained. You don’t move through life doing the things he’s done without having leverage on powerful people. Every part of his life needs to be put under a microscope and we need to see where it leads, no matter to where or to whom.

Everyone knew this would happen when they put him in a jail in the middle of New York, Hillary’s stomping grounds. How is it that our Intelligence organizations didn’t know this? Put a chicken house in the middle of some wolves and not expecting anything to happen?

If this whole mess just gets swept under the rug then we’ll know that our criminal justice system is beyond repair.
