Warmbier’s Father: Trump Brought Our Son Home; Obama Told Us Take A Low Profile

Barack Obama only cared about “his OWN agenda”—he didn’t care about anything else. He got Bowe Bergdahl but left this young man in a coma over in North Korea.

Who am I kidding? Obama was also busy kissing up to the murderous dictators in Cuba, giving billions to the fascist mullahs in Iran, trading terrorists for traitor Bergdahl — he couldn’t be bothered with a petty thief who happened to be an American college student. How would that look?

There’s no reason why Obama couldn’t have brought this young man home except the condition of the American citizen. Obama probably knew if Americans saw a young man in a coma coming from North Korea they would ask him to act militarily and he wasn’t about that life.

Otto Warmbier, an American college student was imprisoned in North Korea until this week. His father told the world how the Obama admin told him to refrain from making his captivity a huge issue while they worked on getting him home.

When Otto was first taken, we were advised by the past administration to take a low profile while they worked to obtain his release. We did so without result. Earlier this year, Cindy and I decided the time for strategic patience was over.

We made a few media appearances and traveled to Washington to meet with [Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Korea and Japan] Ambassador Joe Yun at the State Department.

It is my understanding that Ambassador Yun and his team, at the direction of the president aggressively pursued resolution of the situation.

They have our thanks for bringing him home.

When hearing the father speak, you can’t help but feel the pain the family endured since their son was taken. The Obama administration would move mountains if it were an academic, basketball, football, or any celebrity who were taken. Their only motivation was press coverage. But, since Otto was just only a plain folk American, strategic patience brought nada.

Unlike the Obama administration, the Trump administration went to work to bring their son home and will get not one word of credit in mainstream media. I am starting to get fed up with the media, congressional liberals, and Mika on mourning Joe (also Joe). Let them have one of their children taken and ask Obama to do something.

I’m so so sorry the media found this poor father, mad with grief and rage because Obama refused to lift a finger to help his son. They will quickly turn his grief and righteous anger into political Kabuki theater and in so doing diminish both the sadness of the apparent permanent loss of his son and the cavalier disregard Obama showed so many families of hostages. Obama’s image is rapidly changing from one of an effete fop to a Stalinesque leader who ignored the suffering of people who did not fit his target political demographic.
