Fox News asked for 2020 presidential hopefuls from the Democrat party to join their network for town halls, and now the moderators are trying to move the goal post and stop them from calling out the network on various issues.
I never thought it was a good idea for Fox News to court this batch of candidates because they are too far left and they are trying to take the country down along with them. I don’t think the Fox News audience will subscribe to their Socialist agenda but giving them that platform will amount to them picking off a few here and there and what better way to show disrespect and contempt for Fox News than to walk in their house and disparage them with allegations and accusations in a town hall format.
Moderator Chris Wallace saw that Sen. Kirsten was readying to slam the network on the abortion topic when he interrupted the 2020 presidential candidate saying “frankly, it’s not very polite.”
When have you ever known rabid Democrats to ever be polite? Fox News owns this and they got what they wanted and now it hurts.
Gillibrand: “Chris I want to talk about the role Fox News plays in this, because it’s a problem. I can tell you before President Trump gave his State of the Union Fox News talked about infanticide–”
Wallace: “Senator, I want to say we brought you here for an hour and we treat you fairly. I understand, maybe to make your credentials with the Democrats who are not appearing on Fox News, you are going to attack us,” Wallace continued. “I’m not sure, frankly, it’s not very polite.”
Gillibrand: “I will do it in a polite way,” then moved back to her main point. The debate about whether or not women should have reproductive freedom has turned into a red herring debate. I believe all of us have a responsibility to talk about the facts.”
“The facts are that women in this country have had a constitutional right for over 30 years to make this fundamental life and death decision,” she said.
