U.S. Secret Service Director Steps Down

Randolph ‘Tex’ Alles, U.S. Secret Service Director, was told ten days ago to prepare an exit plan for his job at the U.S. Secret.

This comes on the heels of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s Sunday resignation. President Trump has chosen Secret Service member James M. Murray to take over the agency in May.  Alles will remain in his role until then.

CBS Miami had more on the breach at Mar-a-:Lago:

A Chinese woman accused of illegally entering President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club with a flash drive containing malware, also had numerous electronic devices and thousands in cash stashed in her hotel room.

That from federal prosecutors Monday at Yujing Zhang’s detention hearing in West Palm Beach who are outlining their case as to why Zhang is a flight risk.

Prosecutors say they found multiple electronic devices in her hotel room, including a signal detector that can seek out detect hidden cameras, another cell phone, nine USB drives and five SIM cards. There were also several credit cards in her name.

There was $7,600 in cash and $7,500 of that was in $100 U.S. bills. She also had $663 in Chinese currency in her room at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach County, according to prosecutors.

Nobody can blame Trump for this particular firing. Clearly, somebody fell down on the job, but that doesn’t mean that all of those acting Cabinet positions shouldn’t get filled with confirmed appointees, and quickly.

After the breach, the Secret Service released this statement:

“On March 30, 2019, physical screening was conducted by the Secret Service once Mar-a-Lago staff determined an individual was to be granted access to the property. After the first physical screening, Mar-a-Lago staff transported the individual by a shuttle to the next screening checkpoint,” the memo stated. “Individuals are prohibited from disembarking the shuttle between screenings and the route is monitored by Secret Service personnel.

After undergoing screening at the second Secret Service checkpoint the individual, per club protocol, was immediately met by club reception. The Mar-a-Lago reception staff then determined  that the individual should not have been authorized access by their staff and Secret Service agents took immediate action resulting in the arrest of the individual.”

If these individuals are not a good fit, then make the needed changes, so that this nation, and her people, can be safe and secured. I will not pass judgment without knowing the facts.

I trust and believe through God, that Trump is doing his best for this Nation, and Her People; I have disagreed with a few actions of Trump as president, just as I have with all of our past Presidents, I try to keep in mind, that they are only human, and do make mistakes, just as we all do.
