You’re not the boss of the United States of America.
The United States promptly blocked the United Nations Security Council from removing the declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital on Monday.
Without recognizing Israel’s right to exist, there is no peace process. Thus there was no “peace process” to degrade. In my view, this action speeds up the process by doing just that.
Someone needs to tell the U.N. they live because we allow them to breathe. Without our nation, they are a bunch of fumbling countries running around with their heads cut off. We fund them and give them areas to have their meetings so they should be a lot more courteous.
The United States was further isolated on Monday over President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital when it blocked a United Nations Security Council call for the declaration to be withdrawn.
The remaining 14 council members voted in favor of the Egyptian-drafted resolution, which did not specifically mention the United States or Trump but which expressed “deep regret at recent decisions concerning the status of Jerusalem.”
The draft also affirmed “that any decisions and actions which purport to have altered the character, status or demographic composition of the Holy City of Jerusalem have no legal effect, are null and void and must be rescinded in compliance with relevant resolutions of the Security Council.”
“We call on all sides to come and negotiate … Not to come to the Security Council or to the General Assembly, it’s a waste of time. The only way to move forward is by direct negotiations,” Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, told reporters before the vote on Monday.
The draft resolution had also called upon all countries to refrain from establishing diplomatic missions in Jerusalem.
U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley told the council before the vote: “The United States has an undiminished commitment to helping bring about final status negotiations that will lead to lasting peace. Our hand remains extended to both parties.”
The United Nations' constant attempt to delegitimize Israel in the Middle East while undermining the United States' sovereignty is shameful.
As a nation, we can no longer tolerate the UN's blatant anti-Israel bias that does far more damage than service toward peace efforts.

I didn’t know America was controlled by the United Nations, last time I heard we are governed by a President! So the UN can go pound sand and the new world order agendas they are promoting.
You’d think that an organization so concerned with slavery, they would be looking to protect this nation that not only has persevered and prospered through slavery but also through genocide. Anyone else finds this odd?
We have seen more death and destruction over the last eight years because of actions sanctioned by the U.N. Take your agendas and file them with the other trash you’re peddling.
Sound off in the comment section what you would tell the United Nations if you had the chance.
