Learning of this story a few minutes ago, I believe both parties are to blame for not considering the repercussions of their actions.
They do not consider regional stability, and the moral implications of forcing our ideology, and culture down an alien culture, with a whole different morality than we do.
And most Democrats and Republicans do not consider the repercussions either.
Instead, most people rely on the “government” to inform them of the truth. Unfortunately, we all know the “government” doesn’t deal in truth, they deal in agendas and power.
Left wing rhetoric points fingers at Trump as if this is an indication of his failure, but which president invaded Iraq? Which president used intel groups mistaken documents of WMDs to justify the invasion of Iraq? Which president used the same intel groups to decide that a regime change in Libya was in order? (Using Bush’s template of foreign policy) Who funneled guns and weapons into insurgents hands that were used against US troops? Shall I go on?

Two American soldiers have been killed while conducting combat operations in Iraq, the U.S. military said Sunday, adding that “initial reports indicate the incident was not due to enemy contact.”
Five other soldiers were wounded, it said in a statement, without providing further details. It did not identify the soldiers.
Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend, the commander of U.S. forces battling the Islamic State group in Iraq, said the coalition “sends our deepest condolences to these heroes’ families, friends and teammates.”
More than 5,000 U.S. troops are taking part in the war against IS in Iraq, according the Pentagon. The vast majority operate within heavily guarded bases, collecting and sharing intelligence with Iraqi forces and providing logistical support.
But as the fight has evolved over the past three years, more and more U.S. troops are operating close to the front lines. In addition to the two troops killed Sunday, five other U.S. troops have been killed in Iraq in the fight against IS, including two in the battle to retake the northern city of Mosul.
This is more important than the crap going on in Virginia. We have service members who are dying so we can maintain the rights we have. Yet, we are behaving foolishly in this country without any regard for those who sacrificed the biggest of all, their life. They are dying for Americans not just black or white or Hispanic or Asian, but for every single American regardless of race or religion. We are American first.
Thank you to our military for all you do every single day. We don’t deserve your sacrifices.
