Bottom line: When you let loose the dogs of war many good things can happen.
Who would have guessed that it would take less than a year to almost completely destroy ISIS once America elected a president that wanted to actually commit our military to do it?
Why everyone who was paying attention, that’s who.
Many of you have to realize that Barack Obama’s agenda didn’t include ISIS being destroyed or he would have allowed our troops to work through their mission and destroy them before they grew into a huge force that seemingly took over huge pieces of land to call themselves a caliphate.
President Trump warned ISIS that he would bomb the s*** of them if he got elected and that’s what he allowed, under the command of General James Mattis. The American military showed it’s might in a war-like situation and took the field.

“The rules of engagement under the Obama administration were onerous. I mean what are we doing having individual target determination being conducted in the White House, which in some cases adds weeks and weeks,” said retired Air Force Lt. Gen. David Deptula, the former head of U.S. Air Force intelligence. “The limitations that were put on actually resulted in greater civilian casualties.”
“This was a top priority from the early days of ISIS gaining the type of territorial safe haven in particular, there was recognition that safe havens for terrorist groups can mean terrorist plots that extend — not just into the region — but to Europe and conceivably into the United States,” said Joshua Geltzer, author of “US Counter-Terrorism Strategy and al-Qaeda: Signalling and the Terrorist World-View,” now a visiting professor at Georgetown Law School.
The latest American intelligence assessment says fewer than 1,000 ISIS fighters now remain in Iraq and Syria, down from a peak of nearly 45,000 just two years ago. U.S. officials credit nearly 30,000 U.S.-led coalition airstrikes and regional partners on the ground for killing more than 70,000 jihadists. Meanwhile, only a few thousand have returned home.
This is what happens when you don’t telegraph your actions and don’t implement stupid overly restrictive rules of engagement. Yes, I do blame the Bush administration along with the Obama admin for allowing such restrictive rules of engagement that impeded our military the quick and decisive victories they deserved.
Nobody wants a return to this:
Democrats are falling way behind in the court of public opinion. They thought they had the moral high ground and they’ve lost that by a huge margin. They thought they would continue to terrorize voters by lying to them and that didn’t work for them during the 2016 Presidential Election.
Democrats have been lying about the war with ISIS and Trump has come in with common sense and taken down their fighting terrorities in record time.
I want to say this is excellent news, but we must remember that Islam has no plans on going away. They will resurface under a new name here nor there. Kudos to Trump for letting the boys on the ground do their thing. Hopefully, each time the enemy resurfaces Trump will hit them harder and harder.
There’s no other way to say this except to say it — President Trump is a way better leader than Barack Obama. If you have evidence to the contrary, please add below in the comments section.
