Trey Gowdy reassures Americans Benghazi committee is about 4 dead Americans!

The only difference between the Watergate investigations and the Benghazi investigations is that the Republicans agreed with the Democrats that it needed to be investigated. They looked beyond politics and sought justice. The Democrats today can’t look beyond their noses.

Hillary Clinton campaign is hyping the upcoming testimony before Congress’ special Benghazi committee into a partisan witch hunt based on Representative House Republican Kevin McCarthy’s idiotic blurb a couple of weeks ago when he touted Clinton’s numbers in national polls were due to the creation of the committee.

Yes, that was a bonehead, and I’ve been saying that gave her campaign new life. I also felt Republicans needed to jump on this as quickly as possible, get out in front of it so she couldn’t sink into the victim role.

South Carolina Republican and chairperson of the Benghazi Select Committee Trey Gowdy strongly suggested, while questioned during a Sunday morning talk show, the committee was focused on new evidence and continued pursuit of the facts behind the fatal 2012 attacks.

“We have found new facts that have absolutely nothing to do with her,” South Carolina GOP Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, told CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

“I get that people don’t want to talk about that. But the seven [Republican] members of my committee are much more focused on the four dead Americans than we are anyone’s presidential aspirations.”

Whether or not Gowdy and some of the other leaders can fix this before the committee, they better be ready when they face Hillary this week, or this is going to blow really up against the Republicans for the 2016 Presidential campaign and it won’t be pretty!
