Three Policemen shot at in Seattle; suspects still at large!

Three officers were fired upon near South Eddy Street and 42nd Avenue South on New Year’s Eve.

No one was hurt, and police are still looking for the shooter or shooters.

Seattle police spokesperson Officer Drew Fowler said three officers were responding to a domestic violence call at around 10:30 p.m. New Year’s Eve.

While they were inside the house, they heard shots fired outside.

They exited the house and found a car driving toward them on the street.

They then saw a second car following, firing in the direction of the first car and the police officers. Fowler said bullets were fired at and above the officers, but no one was injured.

Fowler said the officers fired back but the second car fled the scene. The occupants of the first car stayed on the scene and cooperated with the police investigation.

The gang unit, homicide unit and crime scene investigation unit were all on scene.
