Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Steny Hoyer have been trying to get the message out that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley are not the only people in the House of Representatives.
Now five freshman Democratic women are trying to have their say by alerting America, those radical women are not the only newcomers to the 116th Congress and their views including the anti-Semitic ones are not reflective of other women who ran and won in tough districts during the 2018 Midterms.
It doesn’t matter what they claim to be and who they ostracize. They’re still Democrats, they will lie without remorse, and they should never be believed nor trusted.
At an event to tout their formation of a joint fundraising committee to tap each other’s donors (and hopefully bring in more), the five, all with military or intelligence backgrounds, never mentioned New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by name.
But the message from Reps. Elaine Luria and Abigail Spanberger of Virginia, Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey and Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania was clear: Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t represent them, and she’s not the one who’s going to help Democrats maintain their majority.
“There’s been an overwhelming focus on a small number of members in our caucus who did not flip seats, who did not help win the House, who are doing what is right for their districts, but who don’t represent our districts, or at least my district,” Slotkin said at a Friday breakfast with a small group of reporters. When someone in your party claims we only have 12 years on this earth if climate change doesn’t address, and you say nothing, you are part of her circus.
Climate change is here + we’ve got a deadline: 12 years left to cut emissions in half.
A #GreenNewDeal is our plan for a world and a future worth fighting for.
How did we get here?
What is at stake?
And where are we going?

Unless these ladies are willing to change their way of thinking, their ideas, the way they look at America, they are still in the party of AOC and thus should be lumped in with the #MarxistCaucus.
These five don’t miss votes: CQ’s Vote Watch shows they voted 99.5 or 100 percent of the time they’ve been in Congress, compared to a 97 percent average for Democrats in the House.
They’ve also sided with their party less than the party average of 97.5 percent of the time. Slotkin has sided with fellow Democrats the least (89.7 percent), followed by Spanberger (90.5), Sherrill (92.1), Luria (94.5) and Houlahan (94.4)
AOC has been allowed to brand the party with her socialist views for the future. These women might not be as loud as the four horsewomen of the apocalypse but they are not better.
Want to show me they are different, change direction, call out Pelosi and Hoyer and ridicule the Congressional Black Caucus for being hypocrites. I might believe them afterward.
