You would think the Orlando Sentinel would be current on the news of the day, as they are proclaiming that they were not supporting or will they endorse Pres. Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign.
What they need to realize is that Trump doesn’t care. Newspaper endorsements are not the same as they were back in the 60s and 70s, especially with all the fake news they generate. Trump’s ability to get out on the ground and bring in the large crowds by design will definitely deflate a lot of the pretenders on the Democratic Party side while silencing these newspaper organizations with each passing moment.
The Democrats and their fake news outlets are saying that Pres. Trump is down in the polls while they struggle to get 300 people to their rallies Pres. Trump gets 150,000 requests for tickets in a venue that holds 20,000. Did you notice how they leave out that fact? Don’t believe the polls or fake news outlets.
“We’re here to announce our endorsement for president in 2020, or, at least, who we’re not endorsing: Donald Trump,” the editorial board of the Orlando Sentinel announced Tuesday, hours before Trump is set to appear in the city’s Amway Center to launch his campaign for a second term.
“Some readers will wonder how we could possibly eliminate a candidate so far before an election, and before knowing the identity of his opponent. Because there’s no point pretending we would ever recommend that readers vote for Trump,” the editorial board wrote.
“After 2½ years we’ve seen enough. Enough of the chaos, the division, the schoolyard insults, the self-aggrandizement, the corruption, and especially the lies.”
Though the Sentinel endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton over Trump in 2016, the paper has a long history of favoring GOP candidates for the White House. [Politico]
Even though the Sentinel wants anyone but Trump, the Democrats have nobody to beat Trump.
Former VP Joe Biden leads the pack right now but Democrats look to put out that fire with media reports that he’s dropping in the polls, so negativity will bring him down. Sen. Bernie Sanders is a rich socialist who lost some support after Hillary Clinton cheated him out of the nomination and instead of fighting for his position he went and bought a new third house before throwing his support for her.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren has native Indian problems that just don’t go away; Mayor Pete Buttigieg has turned against the unions, and Sen. Kamala Harris doesn’t have former San Franciso mayor Willie Brown to help her move up the ladder this time.
None can beat Trump which now has a record of achievement to include an over 3% growth rate ( Obama never had more than 2%). Trump touts the lowest unemployment in history for Blacks and Latinos, over 5 million jobs created, 500,000 manufacturing good paying jobs, and that’s just showing off.
The U.S. is the largest oil producer in the world and for the first time in over 60 years are self-sufficient no more need for foreign oil. We’re talking oil that can be used to make plastics and run combustible cars and lube wind turbines. With new jobs pouring into states like Minnesota which just opened a very rich nickel mine in the northern part of the state and the 96 million given to improve the great lakes waterway, I see nothing stopping Trump in the great lakes states except New York where New York city determines the whole state.
