A City Councilman from Richardson City, Texas decided to verbally attack freshman representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) on social media but didn’t expect to be called out for his heinous words.
I understand conservatives don’t agree with Ocasio-Cortez politics but the personal attacks need to stop. They are coming fast and furious daily. Most of them are directed at her while others are indirect, such as videos and memes that she won’t have time to view.
Scott Dunn, a city councilman, tweeted at AOC; “The embarrassment is to have bimbos like you with nothing between your ears,” but quickly backtracked and apologized after he received backlash for pushing that into the public.
As you know, your tweets live in the internet cloud forever, and someone is always watching which is how this tweet was captured and share to disgrace Dunn, which is justified.
The Dallas Morning-News thinks Dunn’s tweet was defending about defending Pres. Trump and the State of the Union, even though it’s unclear to what it was directed to.
Dunn wrote an apology on his Facebook page in which he said; “The words I used were offensive,” and “I am responsible for my own words and actions. I apologize to anyone who finds what I said offensive.” Dunn has made his page private since this statement.
Paul Voelker, Mayor of Richardson, released a statement about how ‘extremely disappointed and embarrassed’ he was to see this type of behavior coming from Dunn.
‘While I certainly respect Councilman Dunn’s, or any citizen’s, right to freely express his or her opinion on any issue of public concern, I also believe that Richardson’s values are best upheld when we engage in civic discourse that is civil in tone, respectful of others and designed to produce constructive outcomes for the betterment of our community.
‘Even when we disagree about important political and social issues, we shouldn’t resort to name-calling.
‘I condemn the description of any woman in this manner as clearly inconsistent with Richardson’s values.’
That AOC is about as intelligent as a wheelbarrow full of ball peen hammers, and dirty rocks should be obvious to all. But I wouldn’t call her a bimbo – she does not seem frivolous at all. She has genuine earnestness in her beliefs, however absurd they may be.
That is a quality celebrated by the Left is what makes her the ideal example of what happens when you give every kid a participation trophy and tell them they are special, no matter how ordinary or even less than ordinary they are in reality.
I've been saying this and it falls on deaf ears probably because I am a black male conservative who is invisible.
Your PERSONAL attacks on AOC only propel her upward.
That's how turned around society is today. Please wake up from your sleep to counter it https://t.co/EJWGj5TJG5

And for the record, I don’t dislike Ms. AOC at all – I just wish that rather than spout incessant volumes of unfounded tripe, she take some time to crack a book (or scan Wikipedia) every once in a while. By not encouraging her to do so her enablers on the Left are dooming her nascent political career. She will be ground up the first time she goes up against any savvy political operative, be they Democrat or Republican on a stage bigger than her tiny Bronx district.
I think many people need to pull back on the personal attacks and go after politicians on the policies that would be detrimental to the American voter. Now when I say that, I do not mean lay off the attacks when it comes to Representatives Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Maxine Waters, Congressional Black Caucus or Senators Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin.
They are fair game.Could not load the poll.
