If this happened to a child of mine, the teacher would have received a visit from me immediately
A teacher saw two students fighting, but they didn’t know the kids were playing around. When the teacher separated the two, they decided it was ok to hurt 10-year-old Malachi Pearson’s feelings claiming that it would be his fault when he grows up and police shoot him.
Who gives this administrator the right to say anything like this to this young child? Whatever water they’re serving at Rosehill Elementary School, they had better stop. This was beyond racist to attack this 10-year-old.

“Me and my friend were playing, and then she like pushed us away. We weren’t fighting. We were just playing and laughing,” Malachi said Tuesday during an interview with FOX4’s Robert Townsend.
Moments later, it’s what the teacher allegedly said that upset Malachi and his mother.
”She told me when you turn 16, and the police shoot you, the only person you can be mad at is yourself,” Malachi said.
The fourth-grader said that made him cry.
”I’m crying because it’s sad that my daddy died when I was a baby,” the boy said.
Ten years ago, when Malachi was just seven months old when someone shot and killed his father in Kansas City.
Dry your eyes, Malachi, no time for this. The teacher isn’t trying to help you.
My message to this young man would be a positive one, and I would also inform him that he can change how people perceive him by going against the norm and showing others how positive change and reinforcement can make an entire generation bounce back from the hellish future many of us are predicting of things don’t change.
