Taylor Swift Declaration For Democrat Causes Surge In Voter Registration — 65K in 24 Hours

Anyone who takes their voting cues from a film or music celebrity is too stupid to have the privilege of voting.

I am not a Taylor Swift fan, I have never been. I don’t listen to her songs on purpose, and I don’t know anything about her except she has millions of Twitter followers and across the entire world.

Now with that said, I at least respected her. You don’t have to like someone to respect them.

I saw she endorsed a Democratic candidate and was then slammed by Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA who not only tweeted out his disdain but appeared on Fox and Friends the next day to speak badly about Swift’s endorsement. This comes after he promotes Kanye wearing the MAGA hat. Do you see the hypocrisy? Why even say anything at all? Just do your damage at the ballot box.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn has pulled significantly ahead in the polls in that state and it’s very coincidental that the statists probably twisted Swift’s arm for an endorsement of Phil Bredesen. Maybe they tighten the race up, but the conservative vote should overwhelm liberal Nashville metro and Memphis.

Vote.org says it has seen an unprecedented flood of new voter registrations since Taylor Swift on Sunday broke her career-long silence on politics to encourage her 112 million followers to register to vote.

“We are up to 65,000 registrations in a single 24-hour period since T. Swift’s post,” Kamari Guthrie, director of communications for Vote.org, told Buzzfeed News in a report published on Monday night.

“Vote.org saw [Tennessee] registrations spike specifically since Taylor’s post,” Guthrie continued.

According to Guthrie, the nonpartisan website has seen 5,183 voter registrations in Tennessee so far this month, and at least 2,144 of those voter registrations are from the past two days alone. That compares to 2,811 voter registrations from the state in September.

Guthrie told the news outlet the Vote.org website has also seen a jump in traffic since Swift’s Instagram post, with approximately 155,940 unique visitors a day after the pop star’s announcement. Guthrie said that is the highest amount of traffic the site has seen since National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 25, when the site pulled in 304,942 unique visitors.

“Thank God for Taylor Swift,” said Guthrie.

I have yet to hear voter registration ticking upward since Kanye West put on the MAGA hat, why is that? By the way, he’s scheduled to visit the White House on October 11, 2018. Barack Obama had his Jay-Z and Beyonce, and Trump will have his Kanye and Kim.

What most people do not realize is the influence that shapes minds are not the artists, it’s the disc jockeys that decided whether or not the music gets played along with the rhetoric that comes with it. Yes, I know the numbers ticked up after Swift made her decision but I am positively 100 percent sure the radio personalities spread the message and gave their two cents.

Sure you might hear of Kanye or Jay-Z speak about politics at a concert every so often but it’s the disc jockey or radio personality that you hear every day. They bring on guests to cement the hatred or justification of their rhetoric, and each of the listeners is never the wiser.

I guess you can say the same thing about conservative radio. We listen, and that’s where we develop our thoughts about things, just like progressives. They use culture, music and talking points that are based on teaching irresponsibility and reliance on the government for daily living. Conservative radio teaches responsibility, opposes mainstream thought and brainwashing and promotes better information to be successful without government.

There used to be a time when conservatives didn’t care about endorsements from personalities. Now we jockey for it while acting like juveniles if someone we like endorses someone else. Go Figure.
