GOP front-runner Donald Trump rolled to at least seven victories on Super Tuesday, leaving him the clear front-runner for the GOP Presidential Nomination. Trump won in dominating fashion in Massachusetts, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, and picked up closer wins in Virginia, Arkansas and Vermont. Trump’s win over Marco Rubio in Virginia was a huge blow to Rubio, who spent lots of time in the state this past weekend.
Here is the latest delegate count:
Sen. [score]Ted Cruz[/score] had a good night, winning his home state of Texas and the bordering state of Oklahoma. That gives Cruz a strong argument that he should be the candidate for others to rally around to go after Trump. Sen. [score]Marco Rubio[/score] has one win, so far, in the small (regarding votes) caucus state of Minnesota. That is Rubio’s only win so far in the campaign.
On March 15th, the wins from state elections are winner takes all. Will Trump pull further away or will Cruz or Rubio find their pathway to the nomination? Share your comments below and add this to your social media timeline.
