Why does it seem like the media has a hard time confusing Christ with Satan.
When Jesus dined with the sinners, did he not tell them the parable of the prodigal son? Jesus showed no fear nor hatred in the company of sinners. Jesus came to bring the gospel of repentance, forgiveness, and salvation. Jesus did not come here to condone our sins but condemn it to hell and free our souls. If Christ showed up at that parade, it would be there to rebuke the behavior and save the lost who were searching for Him.
The View’s Sunny Hostin decided to rewrite biblical history but telling her studio audience that Jesus Christ would show up at an LGBTQ Pride Parade.
Hostin: “I’m so glad you brought that up because I was on Twitter this weekend and I read this tweet by the Bishop Tobin who is a Catholic bishop. And he comes out, and he says that he wants to remind all Catholics not to support or engage in any pride, participate in any pride, parades or anything supporting the LGBTQ community because it’s against Christian values and it is harmful to children. And I tweeted out that my Catholic children will be attending pride events as this Catholic will. And you know, my faith always taught me what would Jesus do? And I know Jesus would be attending that pride parade, with pride.”
“And I also know that God is love, Jesus is love, love is love. For a Catholic bishop to come out and say something like that given the history of pedophilia in the Catholic church, given what the Catholic church has hidden about the abuse of children, some would say that being at a pride parade would be much safer for a child than it has been to be in a Catholic church for many years.”
I have no doubt Jesus would attend a pride parade. He would have no problem going in front of these confused individuals, telling them they live lives of sin, and that they should repent and forgive those who drove them into the madness. He certainly would NOT support them. But he would certainly tell them the truth.
The more I think about it, my understanding from reading the Word of God is that Jesus went and taught out in public, in places like the temple, the river, the mountain areas or a well. As he taught, people would gather and listen to him. Some of those people would invite Him to their homes for a meal and hear more of what He had to say, and He would go to their home without respect to their lifestyle.
The sinners sought Him out. Jesus never went into a brothel, or to orgies, or a place where people went to get inebriated, in other words, He never went to places where the objective of being at the place was to sin. I highly doubt that Jesus would go to a gay pride parade, but if a gay person or persons invite Him to their home to hear more of what He had to say I am confident he would go and witness.
