Steve Harvey On Trump Promises: “As For As Doing What He Promised He Would Do, He Is Doing It”

This is going to piss off D.L. Hugley, the Breakfast Flakes and all the black comedians who want to make fun of Steve Harvey meeting with President Trump weeks ago.

Comedian Steve Harvey has been working with Dr. Ben Carson at Housing and Urban Development to get housing for the underprivileged voter who can’t seem to get a leg up on how to get on the right track. Harvey answered the question delicately by saying that what Trump promised he would do, he’s doing it.

Harvey met with Trump at Trump Tower after the election, where the two men discussed plans to partner with the president’s Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson on an affording housing initiative.

“As for as doing what he promised me he would do, he is doing it,” Harvey told TMZ. “I’m working with HUD. I’m going to get some housing for underprivileged people. We’re going to set up some centers around the country. I’ve met with HUD. It’s going really well. God willing, it will work out.”

“He’s keeping his word to what he said he would do”

The TMZ reporter tried to put words in Harvey’s mouth but you will see that didn’t work. Harvey was very careful to craft his exchange and was very quick to shut down the reporter when he added to the interview.

What do you think of this interview? Was Harvey being too cautious to protect his image with the comedian circuit or do you think he correctly put this TMZ reporter in his place for trying to change his words? Share your comments below.
