Stand for Free Speech & Sit for Good Food: Chick-Phil-A National Support Day

Earlier this week, Eric Odom, co-founder and Managing Director of started a Facebook Page for an event he is calling “Chick-Phil-A National Support Day” where he is urging supporters of Phil Robertson to eat at Chick-Phil-A on January  21, 2014. “Join the movement to support Chick-fil-a and Phil Robertson by wearing cam/Duck Commander gear to eat at a Chick-fil-a on January 21, 2014,” the event reads.

Odom said that he launched the “Chick-Phil-A National Support Day” as a way for people to “make a unified, one day statement” of support for Robertson, Chick-fil-A and free speech. Given the similar outcry in 2012 when Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy came under fire in 2012 for espousing the same Christian beliefs as Phil Robertson and the astounding success of Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day on Aug. 1, 2012, it makes sense that people would once again gather at Chick-fil-A.

#TeamNinja will be on the scene to show support for Phil on Chick-Phil-A Day with camo gear on and chicken sandwich in hand. Will you be coming out to show your support for Phil Robertson on January 21? RSVP here.
