Speaker Ryan: Trump Not Creating Deportation Force

Speaker Paul Ryan visited CNN on Sunday Morning to rebuff their claim that President-Elect Donald Trump was going to create a deportation force to remove all the illegal immigrants across the country.

Let me state that Ryan is not Trump’s spokesman. If anything, they’ve been against each other the whole race till a week before Election day just for Republican Party’s sake.

I have talked to some of my friends who believe the way to attack illegal immigration is first to stop talking about a deportation force. Simply enforce the laws. When they are found, send them back. Make them go through the process of coming here legally. It’s not that complicated. If they have committed any crimes, other than their being here, they are banned for life. Not rocket science.

From The Hill:

Donald Trump isn’t planning to create a deportation force to rid the country of more than 11 million undocumented immigrants, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Sunday.

While the president-elect has previously called for a “deportation force,” Ryan said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that securing the border between the U.S. and Mexico will be the first priority.”We are not planning on erecting a deportation force. Donald Trump is not planning on that,” Ryan said.

“That’s not what we’re focused on. We’re focused on securing the border. We think that’s first and foremost before we get into any other immigration issue. We’ve got to know who’s coming and going in the country. We’ve got to secure the border.”

Ryan said a border security enforcement bill would be the “priority” once Trump takes office.

It’s a far cry from Trump’s original promise to deport the millions of undocumented immigrants in the country illegally.

“You’re going to have a deportation force, and you’re going to do it humanely,” Trump said one year ago.

”Look, we have to do what we have to do, and Ike did it, and other people have done it,” Trump said, referring to President Dwight Eisenhower’s policy, in which he deported 1.5 million by the busload and dropped them off at remote parts of the border.

Americans that take what the media says literally are ignorant. I used to be one of those, but I have learned that they spin the news to what they want you to hear and CNN is the leader in doing that. I hope these election results get Americans to think for themselves.

Keep the drama going CNN; most Trump supporters already knew mass deportation wasn’t a priority. The priority was sending a message of a strong border and getting rid of the illegal criminal elements.
