SHOTS FIRED! John McCain Rips Rand Paul For Criticizing U.S. Airstrikes In Syria

On Friday with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Senator John McCain took a swipe at his colleague Rand Paul for criticizing U.S. airstrikes in Syria.

McCain was not happy when he said congressional approval should have to be used to authorize the airstrikes.

Paul also shared his view on Twitter.

“He doesn’t have any real influence,” the Arizona senator said.

Blitzer made the point that others agreed with Paul’s view. McCain did not appear to be convinced by that, saying he is wrong.

Here is the full clip.

It is not the first time they got into a heated argument with each other.

Last month, McCain accused Paul of working for Vladimir Putin after blocking a treaty that would allow Montenegro to join NATO.

They both show there is divided reaction within the Republican Party over Trump’s authorization for the airstrikes.
