According to Rep. [score]Mia Love[/score], Sen. [score]Chuck Schumer[/score] wasn’t even on the program to speak at the Inauguration so what gives?
Sen. Schumer is complaining about Republican voters who booed him when he got up to speak during the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump. Once again, liberals rewrite what actually happened. Yes, the crowd booed Schumer but it was most in part to their dislike of him. He’s been vocal about filibustering Trump judges and not really wanting to work with the new President and America has heard him.
Schumer joined Jake Tapper on Sunday morning to change the direction of those attacks to his speech content and I can tell you from my point of view it had nothing to do with that.
From Fox News:
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-New York) criticized the crowd that witnessed President Trump’s inauguration for booing him during his speech.
Schumer said on CNN that he was trying to deliver a message of inclusion and unity on Friday but “heard catcalls” and was told of further booing after he stepped down from the dais.
“That speech given with any other president or audience would’ve been cheered,” Schumer said, “It’s not controversial language to say ‘we’re all Americans’ [or to] reach out to others.”
The Brooklyn Democrat said he was shocked to hear “catcalls” while telling the story of Sullivan Ballou, a Civil War hero from Rhode Island who penned a letter to his wife shortly before being killed at Manassas.
“Wow, what kind of situation is that?” he asked.
Schumer urged Trump to recognize instances such as the booing during such a speech and “speak positively about being inclusive”, adding that he hopes the president will be more Reaganeque in “bringing people together.”

I consider this whining. Like I mentioned before, Schumer wasn’t even supposed to be on stage so whoever made that last minute decision should have gotten an earful.
What do you think of Schumer trying to shift the booes from himself to the content of his speech. Leave your comments below.
