Sen. Al Franken has alerted the media that he will be holding an announcement tomorrow. According to his Twitter timeline, it was very vague on what the topic would concern.
Senator Franken will be making an announcement tomorrow. More details to come.

On Wednesday, Senate women Democrats called for Franken to resign and I called it a huge nail in his political coffin. (Related: Congressional Women Ask Sen. Al Franken To Resign)
It seems that his liberal constituents do not care about the women he groped “alive or sleep,” they want him to remain in office.
Absolutely!! @SenFranken needs to hold out on resigning until Drump & Moore are no longer in any political or leadership roles!
— UnicornInAWorldOfDonkeys (@UnicornDonkeys) December 6, 2017
Yes. He should hold out on the principle that Trump and Moore should also be held accountable.

Democrats shouldn’t lower their standards to the bottom of the barrel which Republicans have done. We should maintain our own and set an example.
— Benjamin D. (@PatsFanBen) December 6, 2017
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT RESIGN!!! This is so unfair!!
— Holly Butler (@hollygaye) December 6, 2017
Exactly. If he resigns, #45 and Roy Moore need to go with him.

Don’t resign! You wait until the investigation is done!

Don’t resign! stay strong! We need you. This Republican character assassination is happening because they KNOW you’re effective. PLEASE hold steady. I’ve had to deal with men all my long life, and you are NOT one of the bad guys.
— LKdoggg (@LK_Rigel) December 6, 2017
Agree to resign on the condition that Trump does so as well.

I really wish that your behavior hadn’t made an announcement necessary. We need good people in the Senate.
— Christopher Len (@chrisleelen) December 6, 2017
Whatever happens, I think you are an outstanding senator who will/would only get better. I hope you resist the lynch mob; there are nowhere near enough good people representing us in public office.
Thank you for service.

Please don’t resign. This degree of punishment is not right nor fair.
— chuckyou2 (@chuckyoutwo) December 6, 2017
I’ve written an email and called your office, imploring you not to resign.
— Sherrill Dunsmuir (@Sherranduns) December 6, 2017
Wait until investigation concludes. Then [perhaps] resign and challenge Drumpf and Moore to also resign/drop out
— Doc (@DocDarnell) December 6, 2017
DO NOT RESIGN! They’re using you to take the high ground with Moore. The Republicans will still put Moore in the Senate 💯. You deserve your day with the Ethics Committee.
— CountryB4Party (@bidniz_nunya) December 6, 2017
DO NOT RESIGN! DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT… IT’S A SET UP!
WE NEED YOU AL!

What do you think of this type of thinking? There is no logic here. He was caught red-handed (pardon the pun) so why stay in office and face this every day. He said he wanted to reflect over Thanksgiving and two more allegations came forward.
When women hold press conferences against you to resign, you’ve lost whatever leverage you thought you had and it’s time to do more than just reflect. You have to decide to stop the death by 1000 cuts theory, and I am not sure he’s ready to do that yet.
