Ryan endorses friend McCarthy for next House Speaker

We need a Speaker who will fire up the conservative base of the Congress and get some work done.

So, a former fiscal conservative turned big government progressive wants to bless the next obstructionist progressive and thinks we give two sheets about who he endorses? Go away and be a full-time dad and leave politics to those who have the stomach for the fight we must engage in.

I’m not sure we need a seamless transition. I support Rep. Mark Meadows or Jim Jordan for the new speakership. These men love the country and will do the best among those choices that will be introduced.

If there’s ever a thing that Ryan did well for this country was his last week’s announcement of resigning from Congress. Nothing more. Nothing less.

He was responsible for three Omnibus bills valued at over three trillion dollars, and he smiles about it.

Rep. Jim Jordan, a prominent and polarizing conservative leader, said Friday he is strongly considering a run for House speaker in a bid that could upend the race to succeed Paul D. Ryan.

“There is no speaker’s race right now. Paul Ryan is the speaker,” said Jordan (R-Ohio). “If and when there is, I’ve been urged by colleagues to consider that and I am definitely open to that. Right now though the focus has got to be on the next six months, us keeping the majority.”

Jordan, 54, is a former champion college wrestler who co-founded the House Freedom Caucus, a hard-line faction of about three dozen conservative lawmakers that could play a kingmaker role in any leadership race to come. Its members have been highly critical of the GOP leadership, especially after last month’s vote to pass a $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill.

These leftist will not be happy until they’ve ruined our country and every place looks and operates like California. I feel sorry for the reasonable hard working, patriotic folks left out there. Kevin McCarthy isn’t the answer. Kevin McCarthy is the question. The answer is NO!
