Rep. Ilhan Omar — We Need To Abolish ICE, And End All Inhumane Deportation & Detention Programs

Rep. Ilhan Omar wants the United States to drop it’s defenses or at least that’s what I got from her soapbox speech on Thursday afternoon.

President Trump delivered his new plan for overhauling the immigration system here in the United States, and Omar thought someone asked her to give her advice to what she thinks will work.

Omar is now a player in Washington, DC. Rep. Nancy Pelosi has given her extra security from alleged threats on her life. Her fundraising has spiked, and she’s getting her message heard on many platforms using the victim blueprint.

Omar thinks abolishing Immigrations and Customs Enforcement should be at the top of President Trump’s list of changes. Here are a few excerpts from her speech:

“Today the president has unveiled an immigration plan that makes no mention of DACA, a program Trump unilaterally ended in late 2017 ,that has been hanging by a thread thanks to court injunctions. A plan that fails to make sure people with temporary protection status and deferred enforced departure recipients don’t have a path to a permanent status or citizenship. A plan that seeks to limit asylum seekers fleeing violence,”

“Make no mistake, this plan would have a devastating effect on millions of people around the world who, like me, had plans of coming to this land of opportunity. Our nation is, and has always been a beacon of hope for the world. We should be welcoming immigrants into our country and providing them a simple and accessible path to becoming documented, not treating them like criminals or dehumanizing them by calling them animals.”

“We need to abolish ICE, and end all inhumane deportation and detention programs. We need to fight back against the criminalization of immigrants and those crossing the border. We need to create a fair and accessible path to legal status and citizenship for all undocumented people in the United States.”

For now, it’s amusing to hear what she is going to say next, kind of keeps you on the edge of your seat. But the minute people start taking her serious we will have to reel her in and censor her.

ICE only does what the Congress commands them to do through legislation. Congress tells ICE what to do through the law, then wants to get rid of them for doing what they were told? Only a liberal can understand such nonsense.

I believe those millions that put our President into the Oval Office to the will of “We The People,” can see his plans as he makes them very clear to us all.

ICE is enforcing the laws passed by Congress, and now the Democrats want to blame them for the laws? Hey, Omar, if you don’t like the laws, you are in Congress, change them.

Don’t ask Federal Law Enforcement agencies to pick and choose which laws they want to enforce; they can’t do that. The Dem’s won’t even try to change the laws, though, because then they wouldn’t be able to give lip service to their ‘tough stance on illegal immigration.’

It’s a sad state of affairs when a wanna-be communist become the mouthpiece for the Democratic party.
