Timeless Comedy! Legends Flip Wilson And Redd Foxx Segment Will Put A Smile On Your Face!

How many times have you heard the saying, TV isn’t what it used to be?

Comedy isn’t comedy anymore as most of Hollywood has relegated themselves to being political pundits hiding behind the comedy label. They believe they know so much more about the political terrain; they can advise with a partisan twist.

Back in the day, we have shows like Carol Burnett and Flip Wilson to keep the laughter going. I was a kid, but I know what fun sounds like. When you hear your parents laughing uncontrollably while watching these comedy geniuses do their segments on the tube, you know it’s something special.

Call them classic comedies. The professionals knew how to make the audience laugh and wanting more after they walked off the stage.

Wilson’s famous routine was “The Devil Made Me Buy This Dress.” It’s so hilarious! But he also developed comedy gold with Redd Foxx, one of the most “unsafe” comedians in the night club but he could flip the switch and still deliver great funny lines in front of a camera. That’s the mark of a professional.

Here’s something you didn’t know. Wilson’s birthday is December 8th, Foxx’s is December 9th.
