RECIPE – Cajun Chicken Alfredo

I just fixed this at home and let me tell you, it was easy, fast and the entire family loved it.

Here is what you will need:

  • 2 boneless chicken breast
  • 3 chopped up garlic cloves
  • 1 cup of smoked sausage cut into eatable bites
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of cajun seasoning
  • box of penne pasta
  • 1 cup of parmesan
  • 1/4 of parsley flakes

If you are making it for a larger family, just double on the ingredients.

Heat your pot with the olive oil and garlic. Drop the sausage and the chicken on top. Let that cook until your chicken is white (no pink). It’s ok to keep it on a high heat to cook the meat. While the meat has been cooking for five or so minutes, drop your 1 teaspoon of cajun seasoning on top and stir. Some of you might add another teaspoon and it will still be fine.

Add your two cups of heavy cream and stir in. Bring to a boil and then add your box of cooked penne pasta, don’t forget to stir that in Add your cup of parmesan on top and then add your parsley flakes.

Your family will love your dish. NOTE: I didn’t have enough parmesan so I added a cup of mild cheddar cheese.
