Ratings Desperate CNN Brings On Grieving Military Family To Attack Trump

CNN decided to take their failing network down the hole once again by playing political word semantics game, this time with a grieving military family and President Trump.

Alisyn Camerota interviewed the Murphys over their son killed in action and how Trump’s podcast audio kk

I served in the military, but I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child. While it would be nice to get a call from the President, I don’t know that CNN has a big point to say that “Every Single death of a soldier in a car accident” is going to get a call.

What exactly is CNN’s goal parading gold star families as a bludgeon? You know CNN had to dig deep to pay these people to appear. In the end, this grave dancing strategy will fail.

Here is what Trump said:

I think I’ve called every family of someone who’s died,” Trump said, then adding, “virtually everybody.” He said it’s his practice both to make phone calls and send letters.

Did the President say he called everybody? “Feeling like,” or “Think I’ve” called everyone is not a statement that “I have called everyone.” CNN is reaching for ratings.

Camerota asked the family if they had heard anything from the White House based on that audio, once again, that never said he “called everyone.” Here is Ms. Murphy’s tearful response:

“No, I haven’t. I haven’t, but it’s okay. It doesn’t matter if I hear from the White House or not because it’s not really about…it’s not about a call or letter. I just want people to remember my son and all the other gold star moms, Mrs. Johnson, all those who are grieving. Trust me, none of us want to be in the position, and the worst thing I ever have been called is a gold star mom.”

“I don’t want it to be about me or about a letter,” Murphy said. “I want it to be about my child and what he stood for and what they are fighting over there right now as I speak.”

CNN doesn’t even understand that they messed up on this one, big time. They’re that sick. Watch the interview here:

A new poll shows an astounding 47% — HALF the country— now believes the news media just makes bad news up about Trump for purely political purposes. Shame on Camerota for doing this story.

CNN has moved from journalism to advocating for the Left wing, to being self-righteous activists, to now producing political porn. Their decline has been steep. No wonder it’s called the FAKE news.
