Rahm Emanuel must have been reading psychology and heard of the Peter Principle. He rose to the level of his incompetence.
The embattled Mayor is finally leaving office after continued protests against his office with claims he’s not helping the city or making it safer for its citizens.
CHICAGOLAND: RAHM NOT RUNNING AGAIN… https://t.co/NyzPWQhNsr

Whether he resigns or does not run for office, Chicago has a problem that a Mayor won’t fix. The communities need to dive deep into the issues and resolve them. The government will not fix those problems.
Chicago is reaping what you have sewn. I can only hope and pray the next mayor has more common sense than you appear to have.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced Tuesday morning he’s not running for re-election.
Emanuel made the announcement at a City Hall press conference that he will not seek re-election at the end of his term. The mayoral election will take place on Feb. 26, 2019.
“Today, the time has come to make another tough choice. As much as I love this job, and will always love this city and its residents, I’ve decided not to seek re-election,” he said.
Emanuel was visibly emotional during the announcement.
“This has been the job of a lifetime, but it is not a job for a lifetime. You hire us to get things done. We pass the torch when we’ve done our best to do what you hired us to do,” he added.
Emanuel made the announcement with his wife Amy Rule by his side.
Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel has come up with a great way to save lives – he just announced he won’t seek re-election. Chicago already planning a victory celebration.

Emanuel was merely the latest in a string of corrupt mayors and a cog in a more massive machine of corruption that is more than a century old. He must be tired of his life being threatened as he walks down the streets of his city. Now he can move away and ignore the mess he created.
At least it seems like a victory for the people that moved and manifested asking for his resignation. Hopefully, they choose a good leader for their city, and they get the chance to live a change for the good.
What is Emanuel going to do now? Go back to that no-experience-necessary, ten-million-dollar-a-year banking gig he had after the White House? We’ll see.
