Quinnipiac University has released its first presidential head-to-head poll of the 2020 presidential season, and by no surprise, some of the Democrats are leading Pres. Trump while others are in a virtual tie or behind by a couple of points.
Trump supporters will discard this poll and look for one to suit their needs while the media and the Democratic candidates will use this poll to raise money and during their rally events.
Pres. Trump is scheduled to kick off his 2020 presidential reelection campaign on June 18 in Florida, which is why am wondering why this pole was not done after the president had his first rally. That would have made better sense but then again we live in today’s America were people do not use common sense.

In a first look at head-to-head 2020 presidential matchups nationwide, several Democratic challengers lead President Donald Trump, with former Vice President Joseph Biden ahead 53 – 40 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.
In other matchups, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University National Poll finds:Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders over President Trump 51 – 42 percent;
- California Sen. Kamala Harris ahead of Trump 49 – 41 percent;
- Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren tops Trump 49 – 42 percent;
- South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg edges Trump 47 – 42 percent;
- New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker by a nose over Trump 47 – 42 percent.
In the Trump-Biden matchup, women back Biden 60 – 34 percent, as men are divided with 47 percent for Biden and 46 percent for Trump. White voters are divided with 47 percent for Trump and 46 percent for Biden. The Democrat leads 85 – 12 percent among black voters and 58 – 33 percent among Hispanic voters. [Quinnipiac]
A more in-depth look at the Quinnipiac survey suggests, “A total of 70 percent of American voters say the nation’s economy is “excellent” or “good,” but only 41 percent of voters say Trump deserves credit for an excellent or good economy. Another 27 percent say Trump does not deserve credit and 28 percent say the economy is “not so good” or “poor.”
Trump supporters around the nation are looking at a possible landslide of epic proportions, and while I would like to think that would happen, I do not see it happening. The biggest landslide that I have seen in my lifetime was when former Pres. Ronald Reagan won 49 states back in the 80s. I do not think that will ever be done again, in my life, with the vitriol that blankets our country.
I have said on my radio show many times, that with common sense thinking Americans, there is no way for Pres. Trump to lose the 2020 election. If you look at the economy, unemployment lows, keeping some of his promises even though Pres. Trump says that he has kept all of his promises, which is not true, there is no way that you can take another four years away from him while things are looking upward. You do not remove a sitting president who has had a positive change in the country that has it moving in the right direction if you are using common sense.
The problem with progressives is that they do not use common sense. They have been in resistance mode since 2016 and will try their best to do anything to vote out and remove Pres. Trump in 2020.
