I think it’s hilarious that NY Mayor Bill de Blasio got disparaged during a morning interview on Good Morning America.
On Thursday morning, Mayor de Blasio announced his decision to run for the Democratic 2020 presidential nomination inside of ABC studios when he was met by protesters chanting “liar” during the interview, as you will see in the Twitter video below.
The protesters, mainly members of NY City’s police force, can’t be a positive beginning to his campaign, right? They also met him before he entered the ACB building and shouted him down too.

Gmorning from Times Square. De Blasio is due on GMA in a few minutes. Protesters outside are mostly cops, who brought foam fingers and whistles pic.twitter.com/Kw2rbKcN7O

Mayor de Blasio is the 23rd candidate to join the race for the Democratic nomination, giving the field a lot of wee bit of everything and a lot of nothing. The Mayor’s anti-Trump message is wide-known. He calls President Trump a “bully” who “must be stopped” and that he can “take him on.”
“Don’t back down in the face of a bully, confront him. I’ve beaten him before, and I will do it again,” de Blasio added in a video today.
He also took a shot at the Trump administration: “Doesn’t matter if you live in a city or a rural area, a big state, small state. It doesn’t matter what your ethnicity is. People in every part of this country felt stuck or even like they’re going backward.”
De Blasio claiming he’ll help “working Americans,” is a funny one. Yeah, working Americans love being regulated and taxed to death. As I was returning home, I heard New York was thinking about making it illegal to walk and text at the same time.
I was thinking about the 23 people vying for the Democratic nomination. Any more Democrat candidates the debate will have the candidates sit in the audience seating, and the spectators will be seated on the stage.
It is a shame how Democrats have destroyed once great cities; Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Detroit, Baltimore, and even New York City.
Once vibrant and beacons of prosperity, they are slowly becoming (many are already there) third world hovels entwined in an America that is truly great again.
Hopefully, one day, these cities can be saved too.
