President Trump Doubles Down In Defense Of Respecting National Anthem

President Trump awoke this morning and went to Twitter to double down on how the NFL players should stand for the National Anthem instead of kneeling.

Trump continues to be the cheerleader for the renewal of the American spirit and many supporters back his choice to do so. This country has been losing it’s patriotism because of the liberal agenda and Trump has tried his best to fight against that erosion to bring back the pride of the Red, White and Blue.

This is why these tweets are understood by Americans who love the country and believe like our Commander-in-chief.

How can common sense individuals be angry at these tweets? Trump is speaking the truth and those who want to fight it or turn his argument into a false narrative. Trump is a leader that believes in America and we follow that template.

Trump sparked controversy Friday night when he called out NFL players who were kneeling the playing of the National Anthem

Trump said during that event that players who kneel during the national anthem should be fired and fans should leave games.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b—- off the field right now. He is fired,'” Trump said.

Several NFL players fired back at Trump on Twitter.

Washington Redskins linebacker Zach Brown, for example, told the president on Twitter to stay in his place, and Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron suggested that Trump should “stick to politics.”

Funny how NFL players are telling Trump to stay in his lane and stick to politics when they are the ones who are bringing politics into sports. If you have a voice, yell to have it heard. Without you standing beside Trump against those who think it’s ok to kneel against the National Anthem or lock arms instead of putting it over the heart, we will lose this fight. Let’s work to fight against this attack on our patriotism.
