PRAISE GOD! Hobby Lobby Defeats Barack Obama; Employers aren’t forced to go against beliefs

You might think of this as contraception issue but this is not that. This is about businessmen and women, mom and pop shops who have been told they have to do things against their beliefs. That’s at the center of this decision by the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 along ideological lines Monday that home-care workers in Illinois do not have to pay dues to public employees unions.

The opinion by Justice Samuel Alito was a narrow loss for organized labor. It did not overrule the court’s “agency shop” precedent applying to all public employee unions.

The challenge to the mandatory union dues, brought by eight home-care workers in Illinois, represented the biggest labor case to come before the court this term — putting at potential risk the future viability of public employee unions.

It looks like the citizens of the US are gaining control of at least one part of their lives. Now they don’t have to pay some union bosses for something they don’t want to participate in.

Now if we could just apply that to Obamacare.
