Over the past few weeks, we have been hearing about a massive party switch in many of the early primary states taking place because of the enthusiasm for the GOP front-runner Donald Trump.
Don’t think people are switching political parties because of Sen. [score]Ted Cruz[/score] and Sen. [score]Marco Rubio[/score]. It’s just not happening for them, but it is happening for the successful businessman from New York who is reaching a lot of voters with a message they can relate to.
From Pittsburgh CBS Local:
Nearly 46,000 Pennsylvania Democrats have switched to Republicans since the beginning of the year.
According to Penn Live, some experts attribute the mass exodus to Donald Trump.
There’s even a title for the movement. It’s called “Ditch and Switch” and calls for lifelong Democrats to abandon the party, register Republican, and help ensure Trump’s place in the general election.
Professor of Public Affairs at Franklin and Marshall College, Dr. G. Terry Madonna, tells the paper he has a theory behind the switch.
“With the increase in support in exit polls for Trump among working class, blue-collar Democrats, it is my belief that these are people who fall into that genre,” said Madonna.
The numbers are similar in other states as well.
When you listen to the conservative media experts, to tell you that it is eight angry tone that Trump is reaching and fermenting through the American people, but it’s way more than that. Americans are disappointed, frustrated, disengaged because of the DC cartel process that has been going on for years.
Democrats are tired of the same old political party system that runs their liberal agenda through race and segregation. I’m glad they have decided to make a move, and just maybe some on our side will leave so that we can start a new movement in America that cares about our country first over party politics.
