Shout out to the brave men and women of the Shreveport, LA police department who was faced with a belligerent person who (by all appearances) did obey the lawful commands of the officer. The subject appeared to be obstructing official police business and officers were left with little choice but to remove the perp from the scene.
If only these thugs showed some respect to the police officers who are risking their blue lives to keep their lives safe, none of this would have happened.
The video shows an argument between a man and a Shreveport police officer downtown on New Year’s Eve. It ends with that man getting tackled, tased and cuffed. Substitute Police Chief Ben Raymond says the officer involved did what he was trained to do. At this point, he doesn’t believe the officer used excessive force.
