Obama should change his name to Noah; 10K Syrian refugees to flood the US

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest has confirmed that the Obama administration is opening the US border to around 10,000 Syrian refugees beginning in October through the end of the 2016 fiscal year. The president has directed various government

During today’s press briefing, Earnest said the following:

“The fact is, these are human beings that are in a terrible, desperate, vulnerable situation. That’s why the president has directed his national security team to continue to play a leading role in our response to this situation.

To scale up to a degree that some members of Congress have in mind would have some significant fiscal consequences.”

The US currently houses around 70,000 political refugees each year. For the 2016 fiscal year that number will be around 100,000.

Millions of Syrians have been displaced as the ongoing civil war has created dangerous living conditions throughout much of the country.

Opponents of allowing refugees in the country argue that ISIS and other terror groups may use the opportunity in order to infiltrate western countries.

You can expect this issue will likely become a central talking point among presidential candidates for both parties as the next round of both GOP and Democratic presidential primary debates is coming up.

What do you think about this? Where is this space coming from? Will they be sent home later? Under what authority does Obama do this? Is this legal?
