Now PA joins TX, AL, IL, NY filing eligibility lawsuit against GOP candidate Ted Cruz

If it’s not one thing, it’s another.

GOP candidate Sen. [score]Ted Cruz[/score] had to have known this was going to be in an issue when he decided to run for the highest seat in the land. Cruz maintains that this is settled law, there is no argument and all of these cases should be rejected, but that’s not what is happening.

The more these lawsuits continue to be filed; the public will begin to turn away from the TX Senator. Cruz needs to take care of this now and stop asking for these cases to be rejected. Donald Trump, also a presidential gave Cruz advice a few weeks ago, which responded in Cruz telling Trump he doesn’t need his legal advice.

Now a Pennsylvania lawyer is the latest state to file a lawsuit against Cruz.

From CBS Local:

Last week, Sen. Cruz filed nominating petitions to run for president in Pennsylvania’s April 26 Republican primary. Now a Republican attorney from suburban Philadelphia has challenged Sen. Cruz’s right to run because he is not a natural born citizen.

“It is my contention supported by a number of constitutional scholars that it means one must be born in the United States, that the framers of the Constitution were very concerned about the influence of foreign powers over the nascent republic,” said attorney David Farrell.

In a petition filed with the state’s Commonwealth Court, Farrell, of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, says Sen. Cruz’s Canadian birth certificate proves he was born in Canada, and the fact that his mother is an American citizen does not make him natural born.

“We’re going to get right to that constitutional provision to see if he is or is not eligible to be president,” Farrell said.

The Commonwealth Court hearing on whether to disqualify Sen. Cruz’s nominating petitions is now set for March 10.

Why do you think take Cruz will not take care of this and move forward? His supporters continue to say that this is settled, and there is no issue, But if this was settled why is the court allowing the cases to be filed.
