NFL Jaguars Owner: Trump Jealous Of NFL Because He Couldn’t Buy Team

Until this year, many didn’t know the NFL had a Pakistani-American as an owner. Not that there is anything wrong with that or maybe there is.

Shad Khan is the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He took a public step forward a few weeks ago when the Jaguars played in the U.K. when the team took a knee during the playing of the national anthem. The team also caused controversy, standing for the U.K. anthem, which they apologized to all Americans this week. (Related Article – NFL Jaguars Apologize For Kneeling During National Anthem; But Stood For U.K.’s Anthem). That fell on deaf ears, by the way.

Khan is now going after President Trump publicly and personally, baiting the Commander-in-chief to respond, probably so he can play the immigrant victim card. That seems to be the ticket today to stardom, not Hollyweird.

During an interview with USA Today Sports, Shad Khan said this is a “very personal issue” with Trump.

He’s been elected president, where maybe a great goal he had in life to own an NFL team is not very likely,” Khan said.

“So to make it tougher, or to hurt the league, it’s very calculated.”

Khan said that, compared to Trump’s attacks on Muslims and minorities, the NFL “doesn’t even come close to that on the level of being offensive.”

Here, it’s about money, or messing with — trying to soil a league or a brand that he’s jealous of,” Khan said.

Trump’s attempt in 2014 to buy the Buffalo Bills didn’t succeed, according to the publication.

Khan also referred to Trump’s travel ban, saying that it will have more significant impacts on peoples’ lives than the president’s attacks on the NFL.

That’s one aspect that you can imagine — someone is getting a visa that will change their life is from a Muslim-majority country — and, now, boom, that dream to change lives, they get locked out,” Khan said.

That’s a hell of a lot more significant than fighting some sponsors or people who want their money back because they’ve been riled up.”

You would think that Khan would be a lot more grateful just to be an owner in the NFL, but now he’s using Trump to brighten his star, hoping he picks up a lot more fan base and support. That won’t go well. The majority of Americans are Trump supporters, believe it or not. They like someone who fights the political and media establishment and won’t back down.

Khan will probably be featured on CNN or MSNBC shortly, but to us, he’s just another liberal stooge trying to be heard and using Trump’s name.
