NEW CNN POLL: More Americans Oppose Stricter Gun Control

On Wednesday, a new CNN/ORC poll was released, and it showed a good sign for law-abiding, gun right supporters.

The poll showed 52% of those surveyed oppose stricter gun control, 46% support it, and 3% had no opinion. This was an increase from a June survey, which held a tie at 49% for those who oppose and those who support stricter gun control.

Perhaps this is a small sign of things to come. Hopefully, a sign that more Americans will wake up and realize guns are not the problem, but it’s the evil individuals who use those guns to commit crimes.

We are sick and tired of President Obama, the most anti-gun president in history, exploiting tragedies to pursue his gun confiscation agenda. In the latest mass shooting in Oregon, he even admitted that this issue should be politicized for his personal gain.

But 99% of law abiding gun owners beg to differ. We know that gun-free zones make everyone a victim, except for the criminals. That’s what this poll is telling us. It tells us that we’ve had enough with the exploitation used by the anti-gun advocates to push their agenda.

The founding fathers were clear on the 2nd Amendment. It “shall not be infringed” and we need to continue to persevere against politicians that are trying to shred our constitutional rights to bear arms.
