Kristen Welker, an NBC News White House correspondent, learned that Israel was not going to allow Democrat lawmakers Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib into their country on Friday, during a scheduled trip and felt she had to fact check Pres. Trump over his claim that both “hate Israel & all Jewish people.”
Pres. Trump tweeted the following on Thursday morning: “It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep. Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in the office. They are a disgrace!”

“Neither has ever said that they hate Israel or the Israeli people. They have been critical of the Israeli government. They recently voted, in essence, in favor a boycott of the Israeli state over its treatment of the Palestinians, and they have made some controversial comments about Israeli’s, Omar having to walk back some of those comments.”
The progressive media was beside themselves after learning that Israel had changed their minds about allowing both congresswomen to visit their nation. They blamed Pres. Trump’s tweet for the turnabout decision but it seemed as if he decision was made before Trump tweeted.
Why are they even going there? Israel is certainly NOT in the district they were elected to represent. Just a paid vacation at our expense. Either way, both women have shown disdain for the nation of Israel through their rhetoric and speech. Tlaib stated that Israel existed to the detriment of Palestine:
“I truly believe the state of Israel is — it exists, correct, but understand does it exist in the detriment of inequality for the Palestinian people? The detriment of not moving forward in a peaceful resolution. We’re never going to have peace, I truly believe, if separate but equal is the way they want to go. And I can tell you I learned that from my African American teachers in Detroit public schools who showed me what the pain of oppression looks like. We’re not gonna have peace if we don’t understand that we are dehumanizing Palestinians every single day when we choose Israel over their rights.”
Omar has also been outspoken against Israel many times, publicly and hasn’t let up. These are two people who have voiced their disdain for Israel and Jews many times. No reason Israel should allow them in. It’s time someone stood up to them. I support Israel.
Diplomacy is not their strong suit, don’t include them in anything diplomatic because of their antisemitism. They should be helping their constituents instead of making all these trips-Omar just came back from Ghana-why, did taxpayers pay for that trip?
Whether they’re allowed to go or not, they’ll do nothing but bad mouth everything either way. I would not allow these two women to visit. If they do, they’ll bad mouth the United States during their visit over there, then come back to the States and bad mouth everything from their visit. They are two women with nothing but hate in their hearts.
Now, if we can just bar them from Congress.
