Election 2020

MSNBC Hayes To Warren: In What Universe Are Your Policies Going To Pass?

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s campaign is floundering. She can’t get any traction, and this constant blame of the one-tenth of one percent crap isn’t connecting with many Americans. All they see is a scorned politician who tried to get donations from millionaires for her campaign and was turned down. She’s been fighting them ever since.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes took the 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful to tasks on her many policy plans, asking her how should get things done if the Republicans were not on board with her promises. I laughed when I heard Hayes craft his question like this, “In what universe are they going to be passed?”

Warren: “That’s the reason that I am here today. It’s the reason I’ve done 90 town halls. It’s the reason that I have been to 20 states and Puerto Rico and going to more. Because the bottom line is, we have to build a grassroots movement across this country. We have to do it. It’s got to be all of us. And if we do, it doesn’t just help the person at the top. That’s how we take back the Senate. That’s how we take back the House and governors’ offices and statehouses and city councils. We build this thing up and down the line.”

Warren didn’t answer Hayes question although she did drive home a home-crafted talking point when inserted into her babble, pulls at the heartstrings of non-thinking voters but for logical thinking Americans, she won’t win anything in the near future, let along a 2020 Presidential nomination.

Hayes: “Given what’s happened with Donald Trump, and the nature of the structure of the American economy and what’s happening in a place like Ft. Wayne and across Indiana over four decade,  how can you say that they will trust you in good faith when you say ‘We will bring the jobs back or we have a plan to change life here?’”

Warren: “Remember on health care, I was in the Senate, when we didn’t have the votes to stop the Republicans from repealing health care for tens of millions of Americans. But what happened? People from all over the country made their voices heard. They came to Washington. People in wheelchairs came to Washington. Mamas pushing the littlest lobbyists, little babies who had serious medical problems. They got right in the faces of those senators and at the end of the day, at end of the day, it was the people across this country who pushed and pushed and pushed. We got the votes and we saved health care for tens of millions of Americans.”

In this statement, she’s speaking about the late John McCain who sided with the Democrats because of his dislike of Pres. Trump. McCain had tricked Republicans into thinking he was against Obamacare while Obama was in office so when Trump won, he turned against his party and gave the thumbs up to keep it.

Maybe Warren is just running to build her financial war chest for her next run at the Senate because she has NO shot for the Oval Office, and I mean ever!
