US government buildings, be it city, state, or federal should only be able to fly the US flag and their state flag underneath on the flagpole. That is what we owe allegiance to, not to some particular interest group no matter their agenda.
The LGBTQ flag is not a sanctioned flag, just a symbol of a particular interest group. The left talks about the separation of church and state yet want to fly flags with God’s rainbow symbol on government buildings.
MSNBC once again showed their true colors and attacked Pres. Trump for not allowing LGBTQ flag to be raised at U.S. embassies worldwide.
The Trump administration is rejecting requests from U.S. embassies to fly the rainbow pride flag on embassy flagpoles during June, LGBTQ Pride Month, three American diplomats told NBC News.
The U.S. embassies in Israel, Germany, Brazil and Latvia are among those that have requested permission from Trump’s State Department to fly the pride flag on their flagpoles and have been denied, diplomats said.
Although the pride flag can and is being flown elsewhere on embassy grounds, including inside embassies and on exterior walls, the decision not to allow it on the official flagpole stands in contrast to President Donald Trump’s claim to be a leader in supporting LGBTQ rights overseas.

How can MSNBC or NBC News be angry at Pres. Trump when not even a week ago asked that nations around the world decriminalize homosexuality.
Every nation has the sovereign right to conduct its laws and society according to its moral values (be they religious or not). It’s part of each nation’s cultural identity, and other nations should keep their noses out of it. I understand diplomatically “suggesting” to change or adjust certain laws, but there should be no pressure of any sort. Not all nations will like every other nation’s cultural values, but each nation has a right to its own.
Have a gay person put one up in Saudi Arabi, Iraq, Syria, etc. and see what happens. Then see if these angry lefties get angry with what happens.
Embassies and other public buildings cannot, and should not, make political statements! It’s a slippery slope leading to any and all groups wanting to fly their particular flag!
Do you think U.S. embassies should fly the LGBTQ flag?
