Ticket Prices to Michelle Obama’s Upcoming Event Are Ridiculous

Michelle must really need extra cash to pay for that new Martha’s Vineyard mansion, because ticket prices for her latest event are through the roof.

Obama is hosting an event called “A Moderated Conversation with Michelle Obama,” and ticket prices are going as high as $4,200 each.

WHAT?!

Not very “moderated” if you ask me. However, that high cost does grant you “suite level,” whatever the hell that means.

If you’re an average middle-class American looking for a bargain, floor tickets are going for about $1,300 each.

Who on earth would pay these prices?

The lowly seating costs are $144, which is about what I pay per month for my crappy Obamacare insurance, and about $44 bucks more than it costs to see Billy Joel in the cheap seats.

For these prices, will she sing and dance, too?

If that’s still too rich for your blood, don’t worry…you and a friend can slum it in “steerage” for about $72 bucks each, which I guess is reasonable if you don’t have things like bills, groceries, and utilities to worry about.

Truthfully, I  wouldn’t spend $10 bucks to hear Michelle speak.

Former first lady Michelle Obama is coming to Newark Nov. 3 and fans are shelling out big bucks to hear what she has to say.

The cheap seats for the “Moderated Conversation” at the Prudential Center were going for $144 on Ticketmaster.

Floor seats are priced as high as $1,300 and the most expensive ticket currently available is $4,200 for a suite-level ducat.

Obama will be making five other stops in Canada and one in Texas beginning Sept. 23. The moderator will be announced at a later date.

Michelle Obama is raking it in on the speaker circuit. In 2018, Michelle had great financial success hosting this type of “intimate events.”

Michelle Obama’s appearance at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., on March 28 is not part of a plan to launch her political career, sources say. It’s just a way to make money.

“There are some bright young people out there doing some amazing things,” the former first lady said last week.

“This is why I’m not going to run for president,” she added. “Because I think it’s a better investment to invest in creating thousands of me’s.”

There was speculation that Michelle’s upcoming “moderated conversation” in Oakland is a way of testing the waters for a possible run for president in 2020.

But a Dem power broker scoffed, “She is just making money.”

The arena, home of the Golden State Warriors, has a 19,000-seat capacity, and the cheapest ticket is $93.50. First-row VIP seats are going for $3,150. A sellout would bring in more than $2 million. [Page Six]
