Michael Reagan: My Father Would Not Kick DREAMers Out Of US

There are those who remember the situation a little different than Michael Reagan when he uses his father’s name like this.

President Reagan agreed to sign the 1986 Amnesty Bill and he was promised strict enforcement. Congress along with Teddy Kennedy deceived his father and never held up their end. It was shameful and now we have 30-40 million illegal aliens in the US and 94 million unemployed legal US workers and a 20 trillion dollar national debt.

Hardly a shining city on the hill.

Even Ed Meece, long time aide to Reagan said that President Reagan saw the 1986 Amnesty as his biggest regret. He would never fall for the same lie twice.

President Trump is trying hard to fix these huge policy mistakes and save our Sovereign Nation.

Ronald Reagan would “not kick the dreamers out of the US” if he were president today, according to his eldest son.

“He would find a way to work with Congress and lead,” Michael Reagan tweeted Tuesday following the Trump administration’s announcement that it plans to do away with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, over the next six months.

The 40th president’s only adopted child appears to support the idea of putting Congress on the hot seat and letting them make the decision about what to do with the 800,000 illegal immigrants — referred to as “dreamers” — who are currently protected by the Obama-era program.

“Congress never voted on DACA. At least Trump wants to allow Congress a say which Obama did not!” Reagan tweeted. “Immigration issues belong with the Congress not with POTUS…POTUS needs to lead and Congress needs to act.”

This is the audio Democrats usually point to when they invoke Reagan’s name to supporting amnesty:

When an illegal invader, DREAMer as they have been called, stand in protest of the United States, burn the Flag of the United States, hold up Mexican flags and flags other than the Flag of the United States you don’t welcome them to stay you throw these criminals out of the country.

That’s what I think about what you are trying to do and I know a lot of Americans agree with me on this.
