On Tuesday, a newly formed 2,000 personnel caravan started their trek over the dangerous trail toward someplace that isn’t their home.
Here’s the deal before I even get into this article. Someone needs to be arrested and sooner before later. Whoever is giving this bad advice requires a public hearing in the market square and then punished so severely that it never happens again. Now that I said my piece let’s get going.
Rumors are that the new caravan started at 500 and ballooned to 2,000 before setting out toward Mexico. A lot of Mexicans will be affected as this traveling group of misfits make life unbearable, trampling over their home country when this is not needed.
Some Mexicans took to the internet to slam this effort:
“Work? Yes, there might be work for people who actually want to work, not for the lazy bums looking for entitlements,” said one commenter, with the screen name Azucena Santos, in Spanish on a YouTube page belonging to Shialeweb, who was recording the caravan. “Poor Mexicans, what’s in store for you!”
Juan Palomina remarked: “Now look, let’s see if whacko [Mexican President} Lopez Obrador mobilizes the Marines and keeps these idiots from coming to Mexico. Give them enough to eat, at least.”
Some urged the migrants not to be blindly optimistic.
“People of Honduras, all of you who are spinning these grand illusions and getting ready to come on this caravan and in any future others, before you leave your country, please inform yourself about how people who’ve already come on previous caravans are faring in Tijuana,” said Belem Gonzales.
“Mexico is just like your country,” Gonzales added. “There are many problems and needs, and you’re not going to be much better off than you were in Honduras. Please don’t trust these manipulative agitators who are encouraging you to risk everything for nothing.”
Luis Mendez was far more unwelcoming. “We do not want caravans of (emojis of rats). Fight conditions in your own country. You are not welcome here.”

If Mexico had better walls, barriers, and fences on their southern border, they wouldn’t have this problem.
If this caravan invasion were about fleeing poverty, why don’t they work in Mexico? Why do they fly their countries flag? Why do they, the caravan, assume someone will feed them?
“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants in this country” — Barack Obama
The US doesn’t have to accept Central American migrants from Honduras, etc., even with asylum claims from the ones that can set one foot on US soil, because by international law these migrants must seek asylum in the first “safe third country” they enter, which is Mexico.
It’s international law from the United Nations Convention and Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees. I hope that our country is deporting all these people, the ones not in Tijuana already, back to Mexico so they can claim asylum there. Per Mexican law for asylum seekers, these Honduran and other migrants have 30 days to apply for asylum in Mexico.
As I said earlier, the organizer(s), “Pueblos sin Fronteras,” must be taken to International Courts for lying to these poor people and forcing them to uproot from their homes to travel in dangerous conditions for where they are not guaranteed anything.
