The driver is absolutely right, 100 percent, but he also should just comply, because race is irrelevant when someone feels disrespected.
I’ve seen traffic stops like this before and you can get out of your car and close your door and the police are not allowed inside your car. What happens is that individuals get out of their cars and leave the door open, giving the officer the opportunity to go inside without a warrant.
Maryland State Police are investigating a trooper’s actions in a traffic stop where the trooper ripped out a driver’s window with his bare hands and pulled the driver out of the car. The incident unfolded on Route 4 near Dunkirk during a traffic stop on May 7, but the driver posted his recording of the stop Wednesday. In the driver’s video, the trooper almost immediately asks the driver to get out of the car. The driver asks why he needs to get out of the car and argues that point back and forth with the trooper for nearly five minutes.
What do you think about this traffic stop? Do you think the state trooper was excessive?
