McCain — I Gave Dossier To Comey, Not Happy About It, You Can Go To Hell

Senator John McCain is going to leave this earth Hating Donald Trump, and I don’t think he even cares.

McCain has already told the world that he doesn’t want Pres. Trump at his funeral, but he would accept Vice Pres. Mike Pence. I would never do that, but that’s his prerogative.

Back in 2008, McCain sought out Trump ’s endorsement and influence during the presidential election but when he battled then-Senator Barack Obama, he gave up. There was no fight in the old maverick and he let the young inexperienced junior senator from Chicago whip him during the debates.

Mostly all of us knew that McCain had given the fake Trump Dossier to former FBI director James Comey, but this is the first time hearing it out of his mouth with no remorse. Reading what he placed in his book, you can tell why many people are going to be angry at McCain, and some will care about his well-being from this point on.

In the book, McCain writes this: “I agreed to receive a copy of what is now referred to as ‘the dossier’… I reviewed its contents. The allegations were disturbing, but I had no idea which if any were true. I could not independently verify any of it, and so I did what any American who cares about our nation’s security should have done.”

The senator then defended his decision saying he did what “duty demanded.”

I said I didn’t know what to make of it, and I trusted the FBI would examine it carefully and investigate its claims. With that, I thanked the director and left. The entire meeting had probably not lasted longer than ten minutes. I did what duty demanded I do,” McCain further writes.

McCain, who has also said he does not want to have Trump at his funeral, also indicated he does not regret his decision to share the dossier and doesn’t care who criticizes his decision.

I discharged that obligation, and I would do it again. Anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell,” he writes, according to a separate excerpt published by The Guardian.

“Anyone who doesn’t like you can go to hell?” What a great way to end a life, you think? Basically, in this passage, McCain said he knew that the information had not been verified, but he took it to the FBI director because it was his duty.  I’ll let that marinate in your head’s for a few seconds, and then you can add your thoughts in the comment section below.
